Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellations for any reason must be made before the item is shipped and will be refundable minus any transaction fees that were incurred by RCC TOOLS to process your order.

Return Policy:

RCC TOOLS may accept returns on products for either a replacement or a refund of your purchase price (minus the original shipping and handling costs and payment processing fees) provided this return is made within fourteen (14) days of delivery to your address. All returned items must be unused, in original packaging, packed with the same level or protection as it arrived in, and in perfect sell-able condition to qualify for a refund.

Accidental loss, damage, wear and tear, or using products contrary to proper use are not covered (see below for more details).

Coil/controller compatibility is important! (The most common misconception by far is the compatibility wiring order on the plugs.) Please make you best effort to research and/or make contact before purchase to ensure you have the correct fit and compatibility. Please ask all questions before your purchase about the functionality and/or compatibility of your gear. Change of mind and wrong products are covered by replacement or credit; but not refunds (due to processing fees on refunds); however, your order is not eligible for a refund If the equipment is damaged due to improper use of incompatible parts.

Replacement options will likely be provided in cases where there was a misunderstanding or miscommunication, and appropriate substitute item(s) may be available, and parts were not damaged to due to failure to check compatibility.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to cover all shipping costs when opting for a refund unless otherwise negotiated in special circumstances.

For damaged or incorrectly shipped items, please send an email within forty-eight (48) hours upon receiving your package.

E-Nail Warranty Terms:

In order to assure general fairness to all parties, RCC TOOLS guarantees the performance of each electronic controller unit. In accordance with terms below, each controller unit is warrantied for the duration of two (2) years; effective from the date that the warranty receipt is received here. The warranty receipt is completed by e-mail and certifies you as the original buyer of the unit as new (not used). See “initiating warranty by e-mail instructions” below for full & simple instructions.

If the e-nail controller fails to perform under reasonable circumstances (excluding conditions below) it may be either repaired or replaced (according to customer preference). Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Seller is responsible for parts and labor.

Accidental loss, damage, wear and tear, or using products contrary to proper use are not covered (see below for more details).

A list of conditions and improper uses voiding this warranty include (but are not limited to):

  • Water damage
  • Excessive shock/pressure
  • Improper or unauthorized repair
  • Dis-assembly of the product
  • Signs of misuse or mishandling
  • Cats
  • Lightning strikes
  • Locusts/Grasshoppers
  • “Sharks with friggin’ lazer beams”
  • Fire, flood, hurricane, or other contingencies beyond the control of RCC TOOLS

  • Responsibilities also include:
  • Connecting the enail improperly to a power strip or long extension cord (possible circuit overload)
  • Protecting from extreme cold, heat, or temperature changes
  • Padding and protecting if/when transporting
  • Using reason and caution in general

Heating Coil Additional Warranty:

In addition, each heater coil is guaranteed for 1-year. From years of experience I am confident that with reasonably careful use there should be no problems whatsoever within this time period — and likely beyond. However, if coils are heated above 1080F, such as for cleaning procedures, RCC TOOLS will not be responsible for premature coil failure. The manufacturer says the average lifespan of these coils is approximately 8000 hours, or 333 days of non-stop, continuous use, and that 1000F is the safe maximum temperature. I’ve personally used them at around 1100F with no problems but do this at your own risk.

Registration and/or Transfer of Warranty Agreement(s)

This warranty covers the original purchaser of this appliance. The original purchaser must register their product via e-mail within 30 days of purchase. Simply snap a picture of the controller and send to: [email protected] with the subject line reading: “RCC TOOLS WARRANTY RECEIPT”. Include the sale date and vendor/retailer of this purchase. RCC TOOLS will retain the e-mail (for at least the effective period of the warranty) as an official receipt, and initiation of warranty time-stamp.

IMPORTANT: This e-mail can be visually-matched to the unit in the future, should there be any issues. For this reason, you must make sure the unit is identifiable by the photo. This means lighting must be reasonable to capture any identifiable design features.

3D Printed Items

All 3D printed items must be handled with a reasonable level of care to avoid weakening and/or warping the structure. 3D FDM printing uses a layer-by-layer construction — as opposed to standard injection molding which has no layers but is one uniform piece. Any transport of 3D printed items requires sufficient padding and avoidance of stacking heavy objects on top of these items or around them without suffifient padding and/or bracing.

Please keep 3D printed items out of direct sunlight. Intense direct sunlight lasting longer than 30 minutes may result in slight warpage. Care should be taken to keep any 3D printed away from intense heat (over 90F) or the risk of warpage may increase. In most cases the warpage is very slight and hardly noticeable; but some caution is warranted regarding this.

Miscellaneous

All units will be rigorously inspected upon return to determine the cause before a repair or replacement is issued. Each controller unit is quality-tested before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction. In the event that a unit is returned, the buyer is responsible for all shipping/handling costs.
RCC TOOLS is not responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from circumstances out of the control of RCC TOOLS.

The final right of interpretation of this warranty belongs to RCC TOOLS.

Thank you for your support!

We refer to this information as “Order Information”. Payment information such as credit card numbers are not stored on this website, but are directed to PayPal for checkout.

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
– Communicate with you;

– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Analytics

We collect limited analytics through Google to help improve the website by identifying problem areas which may need addressing. These analytics do not identify users directly but rather aggregate the data anonymously.

Who we share your data with

We share your Personal Information in an extremely limited manner and for limited purposes, as described above. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site — you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. How long we retain your data

Your order may be stored indefinitely in order to refer back to in case future assistance is needed. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Payment information such as credit card numbers are never stored on site. Sensitive information such as this is handled only by PayPal’s secure servers.
